Come read Parallel World’s most purchased book, by participating in our Two-week Reading Seminar with Heaven-Leigh to read: I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman
Each session will explore outside sources and parallels provided by the guide to deepen our understanding of Harpman’s text.
Following the life of a woman who has spent nearly her entire existence in an underground prison, Harpman’s novel delves into themes of isolation, identity, and the human condition. Through our discussion, we will unravel the complex layers of this narrative, examining its reflections on society, gender, and the quest for meaning. All are welcome, whether you’re reading this novel for the first time or reading it again. Please RSVP through the event link or by sending a message to Parallel Worlds on Instagram.
This workshop will be led by Heaven-Leigh. Heaven-Leigh is a writer, scholar, reader, and, most of all, a lover of speculative fiction. She is interested in the stories we craft about our future and the blueprint of hope speculative fiction can offer for real and radical change.
